Vail Events

Our first snows have arrived! The chill in the air conjures up images of delightful events that you’re sure to find only in Vail. Listed below are a few that will kick-off this winter’s season:

• Even before we list the rest, don’t forget that Vail’s Opening Day is November 20 ^th.  Buy your Epic Pass now because it's going to be an epic winter!
• The Ten Tenors will perform “Nostalgica” on November 19th.  With an unparalleled palette of repertoire, they’ve taken their passion for quality music and powerful singing to such venues as London's Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House. This event is sure to invoke nostalgic memories of people, places and times in history featuring such hits as Louis Armstrong's favorite "What A Wonderful World" as well as other fan favorites "You'll Never Walk Alone," "Danny Boy" and "Besame Mucho."
• Making their VPAC debut on Saturday, November 14th, the Black Crowes are a blues-oriented hard rock jam band that has sold over 20 million albums. They’ve been hailed as "The Most Rock 'n' Roll Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World" and named the 'Best New American Band’ by readers of Rolling Stone.' The band replicates that Stonesy swagger and Faces boogie perfectly.
• Warren Miller's Dynasty, the largest action sports film on the planet, is coming to kick off your winter sports season for the 60th year on November 27th!  Narrated by skiing icon Jonny Mosley and presented in striking high-definition, Warren Miller's Dynasty showcases fresh cinematography that will get you craving vertical lines, deep powder, and epic adventure.
• Treat the little ones to kids activities, Vail-style!  From Storytime skating to Discovery Bunch to gymnastics, there is a never-ending list of events available through the Vail Recreation District.
